Here are some of the Winter activities and events that will take place soon in the port.
International Charro Championship Vallarta 2025
The first days of February will be full of events for all tastes.
From Thursday, January 30 to Sunday, February 2, the traditional International Charro Championship Vallarta 2025 will take place.
The venue is the Lienzo Charro Miguel “Prieto” Ibarría, very close to the International Convention Center of Puerto Vallarta.
With a total of 35 teams of charrería and escaramuzas (women in traditional dress riding horses). This Championship represents charreria in its maximum expression. Teams from different parts of Mexico and the United States will exhibit great charro tricks, determination, courage and skill to win first place in the tournament.
The Championship is a 100% family event that highlights Mexico’s national sport and one of the public’s favorite activities is the traditional “Maleconeada”, a colorful and lively parade with the participating riders along Puerto Vallarta’s Malecon.

LGBTQ+ Bears Week
In February it is already well known the visit of thousands of visitors from the LGBTQ+ “Bear” community who come from different parts of the world to enjoy the beaches, the parties and different activities full of energy and fun.
This year is no exception and the “Bears” are coming to the port with a bang.
During the last week of January and first week of February there will be two festivals dedicated especially to this community. But anyone is welcome and believe us you will have a great time.
Bearadise Festival | Beef Dip
The festival started on Monday, January 27th and will run until Sunday, February 2nd. These two festivals are both present and have a great number of events and parties that you can enjoy during those days.
Both festivals feature renowned DJs, GoGo Dancers and artists from the LGBTQ+ Bear community around the world.
Tours, beach parties, theme parties, concerts, shows, pool parties and karaokes. All this with the spectacular weather of Puerto Vallarta and the incredible atmosphere that only the Bears community know how to do.

The Puerto Vallarta Carnival 2025
Last year we were able to enjoy the first edition of the Puerto Vallarta Carnival, which gathered more than 35 thousand attendees during three days of shows, parties and fun that culminated with a colorful parade along the Malecon with more than 85 floats.
This year the Carnival arrives under the slogan “Dance, laugh and celebrate!”, with different events that include live music on different stages, which will be placed in strategic points of Downtown and the Romantic Zone.
The big carnival will take place from February 20 to 22. On Saturday at 5:00 pm, the parade will begin with floats, troupes and music. The parade will start at the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort and will go along Mexico Avenue, continue along the Malecon and end at the Romantic Zone.
