Although the beaches of Puerto Vallarta are impressive, the Puerto Vallarta Botanical Garden, located on the slope of the Sierra Madre, is a place of unparalleled beauty. Situated in Cabo Corrientes, about 35 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta, this garden has captivated visitors since 2005.
With the mission of being the most important botanical garden in Mexico for the propagation, study, discovery, conservation, and exhibition of native Mexican plants, the Botanical Garden is a haven of peace where visitors can marvel at the incredible biodiversity of the region.
The Puerto Vallarta Botanical Garden is the perfect place to spend the day, walk its trails, and even take a dip in the river. It also has an excellent restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine.
The Botanical Garden is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day from December to March, and closes on Mondays from April to November. The entrance fee is $200 pesos per person and children under 4 years old enter for free. It is recommended to use sunscreen and insect repellent.
