If you are a salsa lover, La Bodeguita del Medio is the place to go. A quirky Cuban bar with live salsa bands every night, here you will find lovers and friends, young and old, dancing all night by the sea on the boardwalk. We recommend the mojitos!
If you’re looking for something a little more relaxed, literally around the corner is the Jazz Foundation. Sit down to enjoy a meal with a glass of wine or a classic cocktail and treat yourself to a night of smooth jazz.
However, if you’re more of an outgoing type who loves to sing classic hits from past decades at the top of your lungs… then Mr. Flamingo’s is the perfect place for you. It’s an open-air palapa-style bar in the heart of the Old Town with an excellent sound system and a DJ every night. This place is perfect for dancing, singing, and socializing with new and old friends.
On the corner at the other end of the same block, there’s a great place known as El Soñador. This classic and elegant bar houses a glorious pool table on the main floor and an impressive outdoor terrace on the second. These guys have an excellent cocktail menu and a full outdoor kitchen on the terrace. Some nights of the week, they host lively rock bands that really know how to put on a show. This place is ideal for anyone looking to start the night with a few drinks and delicious food, or to enjoy live music and meet new friends.
