During Puerto Vallarta’s high season, which runs from October to May, the heart of the Historic Center of Puerto Vallarta comes alive with color and energy. Every Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the cobblestone streets transform into an open-air gallery overlooking the ocean: paintings, sculptures, crafts, and local artists welcome those seeking to experience the city from its most inspiring side.
This is how the Puerto Vallarta Art Walk was born—a tradition that celebrates Vallarta’s art and hospitality, inviting families, friends, and curious travelers each year to stroll together among galleries, laughter, and local flavors.

Fifteen of the leading galleries located in Puerto Vallarta’s Art District are opening their doors for the 2025–2026 season of the Historic District Art Walk.
Collectors, art enthusiasts, and the artistic community have a weekly gathering every Wednesday to enjoy art, greet local friends, meet new people, and build community.
Participating galleries present exhibitions featuring highlights from their catalog of Mexican and international artists and often offer complimentary wine and the opportunity to chat with the exhibiting artists.
At the Art Walk, the tour is free and open to all. Plus, with galleries located close to one another, you can visit several in a single afternoon and mingle with other art lovers.
The Art Walk is an experience that touches the soul.

Discover colorful works of art, bronze sculptures gazing out at the ocean, and galleries where every piece tells a story—all in a cheerful, welcoming, and safe atmosphere: perfect for enjoying a unique evening filled with art, conversation, and sunsets that paint the sky gold.
