
YELAPA.
Just 45 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta is Yelapa nestled at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountains. Yelapa is a beautiful town that can only be reached by sea. It is a place full of tranquility and privacy where you will find a relaxed and bohemian atmosphere surrounded by abundant tropical vegetation and the rich variety of flora and fauna species that inhabit its surroundings.
In its crystalline beaches you can enjoy the waves and practice water activities such as snorkeling, diving, kayaking, paragliding and sport fishing.
In Yelapa you can take a day trip or if you prefer to explore in depth, you can choose to stay in one of the many boutique beachfront hotels that offer luxury accommodations or different options such as renting smaller spaces but with all the comforts.

COLOMITOS
One of the most beautiful yet smallest beaches in Puerto Vallarta, Colomitos is famous for its crystal clear emerald green waters and gentle waves. Perfect for swimming and water activities such as diving and snorkeling.
You can get there in two ways, hiking through the mountains until you reach the beach or if you are not so adventurous you can take a panga (boat) to get there. Besides practicing aquatic activities you can also rest, have some drinks and enjoy the sun. Its unique landscapes make Colomitos an ideal place to enjoy the sun.

QUIMIXTO
This beach is a popular fishing village, located about 20 minutes south of Boca de Tomatlan; between Las Animas and Majahuitas beaches.
This destination offers quiet golden sand beaches, impressive waterfalls and a relaxed atmosphere ideal for disconnecting from technology. The Quimixto waterfall is a must-see. You can access through the small cobblestone streets of the town or walking upstream, along the path parallel to the river La Puerta, this route can also be done on horseback.
Snorkeling and scuba diving are very common in Quimixto. During the fall and spring, its beaches become a reference spot for surfing enthusiasts.
At the foot of the waterfall is the popular restaurant-bar Los Cocos, which offers a menu based on fresh seafood and other typical dishes to enjoy after a dip.

LAS GEMELAS
One of the most beautiful and preferred beaches by visitors to Puerto Vallarta. Playa Las Gemelas are two small beaches divided by a rocky outcrop.
Its waves are mild-moderate, its sand is soft and its green crystalline waters are ideal for swimming in its waters while enjoying the tranquility.
You will have to go down from the road through the pedestrian entrance. It is recommended to bring your supplies and your umbrella so you can enjoy the afternoon with your friends.

PALMARES BEACH
Another beach south of Puerto Vallarta which you can access from Zona Romantica. The 6.5 kilometers long beach offers magnificent ocean views and has beautiful landscapes for you to capture your best moments.
At the entrance to the beach access you are welcomed by the monumental sculpture “The Sail of the Galleon” by French artist Nicolas Bertoux. It has all the facilities to get there without any problem, the parking lot is in front of the beach and has a ramp to facilitate the transfer to the beach.
Its beautiful emerald green and deep blue waters invite you to take a dip or if you prefer to practice water activities such as kayaking and Stand Up Paddle. The beach is extensive golden sand and the seashore tends to be rocky and the waves are medium-moderate.
