In January 2019, Swoop Airlines, a new low-cost carrier owned by WestJet, took to the skies with direct flights to Puerto Vallarta from Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) in British Columbia and John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM) in Ontario. Both routes offer twice-weekly service to our sunny shores.
And taking off later in 2019, Canada Jetlines will offer new direct flights from Canada to Puerto Vallarta, as another affordable airline carrier soon to service our destination. Although routes have yet to be confirmed, agreements have already been made with Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico which manages the Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR), and flight operations for Fall 2019 should be announced this summer.
