Vying for more than 300 000 MXP in prize money, extreme cyclists from 12 countries, hailing as far as
China and Brazil, will thrill crowds at this free weekend event, held May 18 and 19, 2019. From a starting
point high above the city, these extreme riders will speed down the streets, stairwells, alleyways, and
cobblestone slopes of our city, flying high into the air over ramps, as they race down to the Malecon at
breakneck speed. While this extreme urban cycling course isn’t long, it requires intense technical skills
and focus, and for the crowd, it is always thrilling to watch this free cycling event in Puerto Vallarta.
