Maia Restaurant, located on Calle Pulpito, is one of our neighborhood favorites which has been attracting rave reviews and repeat customers since opening in 2014.
The dining room decor is “hip Mexican”, featuring traditional Mexican artwork as interpreted by up-and-coming local artists. Passing through the dining room you arrive at an expansive terrace with pool, perfect for dining al fresco with friends.
Menus are presented on large chalk boards by your server who will explain the choices in both English and Spanish. The chef describes the menu as “poetic Mexican” and it is dedicated to the idea of using local, organic ingredients to create upscale modern Mexican cuisine at very affordable prices. They also have an impressive and creative burger menu for casual meals and no visit is complete without one of their delicious Mezcal cocktails served in traditional jarras.
