In fact, just with just a quick ride down our “Pinnicular”, as our funicular is called, puts you at the doorstep of a Vallarta favorite: The Swedes.
The Swedes Bar & Bistro has a reputation for providing only the best in food and service. Established in 2009 by owner Morgan Granander, the menu features international dishes and a nice selection of Northern European favorites.
Some of the menu highlights include the Norwegian Salmon, pan fried salmon on a bed of cauliflower puree and served with vegetables, pickled cauliflower, topped with a tarragon sauce and the Beef Tenderloin served with bacon wrapped haricots, roasted baby potatoes, grilled tomato and topped with a red wine reduction. Or dine more casually with their famous, juicy “Morgan” burger.
The atmosphere in the dining room is intimate and romantic, with things getting more lively at the rooftop bar. On most evenings, owner Morgan Granander will personally stop by your table to tell you the specials for the night and answer any questions about the menu.
